Message Minute (Discovering Your Gifts)

God has given every believer spiritual gifts through the Holy Spirit. These aren't ordinary talents but supernatural abilities designed specifically to build up the church. The beautiful truth is that everyone has received at least one gift—no exceptions! These gifts aren't meant to collect dust but to be discovered and deployed. Think about what energizes you when serving others. Do you find joy in teaching? Does helping behind the scenes fill you with purpose? Maybe you have discernment that helps others navigate complex situations. Your gifts aren't random—they're intentionally bestowed by God as part of His multicolored grace. Remember that these gifts aren't ultimately about you. They're given TO you but FOR the church. When we understand this purpose, we stop comparing our gifts to others and instead celebrate how our unique contribution fits into God's grand design. Just as a body needs every part functioning properly, the church needs your specific gift in action. Today, instead of asking "What can I get?", ask "What can I give?" Your spiritual gifts represent God's investment in you for the benefit of others.

Verse: "Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God's grace in its various forms." - 1 Peter 4:10

Reflection Question: What activities in serving others leave you feeling energized rather than drained, and how might this indicate your spiritual gifts?

Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for investing spiritual gifts in me. Help me discover how You've uniquely equipped me to serve Your church. Give me eyes to see opportunities where my gifts can build up others for Your glory. Amen.
