Message Minute (You Have a Good Heart)

"I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you." — Ezekiel 36:26

Here's something that changes everything: When you place your faith in Jesus, God doesn't just forgive your old heart — He replaces it with a new one. You are not a sinner white-knuckling your way through life trying to be good. You are a saint, learning to live from who you already are.

So many Christians miss this. They spend their whole lives performing, striving, and managing their behavior; never realizing the heart underneath has already been made new. That's exhausting. And it's not what Jesus died for.

You are not a problem to be solved. You are a glory to be revealed. The Christian life isn't a self-improvement project. It's an invitation to let God resuscitate the good and noble heart He already gave you, so you can live with the passion and strength you were designed for.

That changes how you see yourself on a hard Tuesday. On a bad week. In a season where you feel like you're failing. Your heart is not the enemy, it's been made new. Trust it.

Reflection: Are you living like someone with a new heart, or are you still performing as though God is disappointed in you?

Prayer: God, thank You for not just forgiving the old heart but replacing it. Help me live today from the truth that my heart has been made new in You. Amen.
